The Truth of The Witch

Once a young man, about 28 years old, was married and had recently had a child. One day he was coming home through a deserted road. Then a bamboo branch fell in front of him, in which a witch was sitting.

She started beating him and threatening to take him with her. So the young man told him, no, let me go, my wife is alone in my house with her child, I have to go home quickly.

So the witch told him that she will let you go home only on one condition, if you keep me with you as your wife. The young man had no other choice so he brought her home with him. He narrated the entire story to his wife. His wife was also helpless so she too had to keep the witch at her house.

The young man’s wife used to work with her child in bed. But when the child started crying, the witch would go and pick him up before he could calm him down and would also massage him with oil. His wife did not like all this, she feared that she was a witch and would definitely harm people. Due to this, she kept her child away from that witch.

One day such an incident happened that everyone was shocked. The young man’s child was lost and was nowhere to be found. When everyone searched for him, they found him lying dead in a drain.

Seeing this, his wife started crying uncontrollably and held the witch responsible for the child’s death. When the young man asked the witch, is this your work?

At first the witch kept denying all this but later she admitted that she had killed the child and thrown it in the drain. He did all this because his wife kept him away from the child; hence he got angry and killed the child.

Hearing all this young man became very disappointed and started crying. What harm have we done to you that you are troubling us? After hearing this, the witch brought the child back to life and said that in future you will not keep me away from this child.

Then the witch started taking care of the child and the young man’s wife thought it better to watch everything out of fear. But the biggest thing is that why did that witch want to become a part of a family and what was her attachment with that child?
