in International Sports At Abu Dhabi.

The 5th Asian Ju Jitsu Championship 2021 at Abu Dhabi from 12th Sept. to 16th Sept,
2021 by the Ju-Jitsu Asian Union (JJAU), affiliated to Ju-Jitsu International Federation (JJIF) is recognize
by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), Sport Accord, GAISF, the World Games and by the WADA.
Ju- Jitsu is also feature as an integral event in the 2022 Asian Games. It is fully recognized by USIP International Police Union.
408 athletes from 19 countries in Asia – India, Bahrain, Chinese Taipei, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan,
Kazakhstan, Korea, Kuwait, Maldives, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, Thailand, Uzbekistan & UAE, participated in this event.
API Abhijeet More, a decorated Police officer, recipient of DG’s Insignia and several rewards,
represented India in this Championship in the Ju-Jitsu Fighting System event and won Bronze medal
for our country in the men under 85 kg weight category. API More has been training rigorously under
Coach Ratnadiptee is in the combat sport of Ju-Jitsu since 2015. The police department has supported him ever since.

ADG Police – Mr. Anup Kumar Singh, IG Police – Mr. Shengavkar, the former Sports PI, Mr. Bajirao Kalantre
and the current Maharashtra Police sports incharge API Junaid Khan who truly
backed him in his endeavour to become the best Ju-Jitsu athlete.
Abhijeet is very thankful to the Ju-Jitsu Association of India President, Mr. Suresh Gopi and the
President of the Ju-Jitsu Association of Maharashtra, Mr. Ziauddin Khatib for believing in him and
giving him the opportunity to prove himself.

He has a record of winning Gold Medal in all the national championships and is the unbeaten champion.
His international record of winning Bronze medal at 3rd Asian Championship 2017, Kazakhstan and Gold medal
at the World Open Ju-Jitsu Championship 2019, Thailand (Grand Prix) makes in the best Ju-Jitsu athlete in the country.
The 5th Asian Ju Jitsu Championship 2021 was a very important event as it marked the selection of the
athletes for the upcoming 2022 Asian Games, China and the 2022 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games,
Thailand.
API Abhijeet has secured his position in these Asian Olympic events by securing Bronze medal in this Asian Championship.
