7/8/2024,

What to expect and how to witness the return of Future Games Show at Gamescom

We’ve always had a tonne of amazing games to look forward to from The Future Games Show, and this Wednesday, August 21, at Gamescom, will mark the next chapter.

More than fifty games will be shown off, including a first look at The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 2. The hosts of the event are Ned Luke, who plays Michael in Grand Theft Auto V, and Alex McKenna, who plays Sadie Adler in Red Dead Redemption 2.

How to access Gamescom’s Future Games Show

On Wednesday, August 21 at 4 PM ET, 1 PM PT, and 9 PM BST, you may watch the stream on Twitch, YouTube, X, Facebook, TikTok, and more.

Naturally, we have already discussed the more than fifty games.

There will be a thorough playthrough of Sid Meier’s Civilisation VII, the game that is sponsoring the event. Plaion, Nacon, Rebellion, Tripwire Presents, and 2K will all be present.

Anything from more Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown gameplay perhaps even an early look at the new simulator wheel and pedals the team is creating to another look at Atomfall, which impressed me during this year’s Xbox Games Showcase.

There is a large range of games with a ‘Ones to Play’ area (games with demos you can play right after the show), an ‘Indie Elevator Pitch’ that highlights independent titles, and a ‘Ones to Watch’ section that features a hand-picked list of forthcoming games for variety.
