RFJ Jr. Claims to Frequently Fall for False AI Content Misinformation from AI, connect with your target market.

As reported by Mother Jones, conspiracy theorist and confessed brain worm sufferer Robert F. Kennedy Jr. claims that he is “always fooled” by phoney artificial intelligence content. We accept him!

According to Mother Jones, Kennedy made the remarks last week at a Zoom-powered campaign event titled “The AI Revolution: Live Conversation on the Perils and Promise of AI.” Kennedy, indeed, is still a third-party candidate in the 2024 election.

During the panel which was moderated by a guy who has falsely equated the COVID-19 vaccine with “gene therapy” and, as Mother Jones notes, frequently makes antisemitic comments  Kennedy admitted that he “gets manipulated by” AI-generated misinformation regularly, explaining that he has to rely on his kids to tell him what’s real and what’s not.

“Somebody will send me something and I’ll go ‘Holy cow, did you see this?'” he told the panel, describing an effective way for misinformation to flourish within like-minded communities. But, he added, his children thankfully often correct him when he sends it their way, that is.

“My kids will say, ‘That’s fake, dad,'” the Kennedy scion continued, adding that they can spot AI fakes “immediately.”

Kennedy said that his story about his children shows that internet users generally have the agency and online literacy to distinguish what’s real from what’s fake. This is astonishing because Kennedy had just moments earlier claimed that he doesn’t “believe it’s true” that AI-powered misinformation poses a significant threat. Kennedy also claimed that artificial intelligence (AI) fakes constantly manipulate him and that he must delegate his own media literacy to his children.

It’s also very rich to hear Kennedy, a well-known conspiracist with a lengthy history of disseminating demonstrably erroneous information, argue against the harm posed by misinformation, whether it comes from AI-generated content or plain old human-made trash.

Kennedy is most famously recognised for his irrational belief that vaccinations cause autism in children, an assertion that has permeated many facets of society despite being unfounded. Along with making egregiously racist and antisemitic statements implying that the COVID-19 virus was genetically modified to target specific racial groups while sparing “Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese,” he has also falsely claimed that prescription drugs are somehow to blame for mass shootings.

Moreover, he has advanced the false claim that frogs are the reason why children are turning gay or transgender due to man-made chemicals in streams.

Stated differently, if you manage a disinformation-filled, pink-slime journalism website, Kennedy is practically your target audience.
