His name is Dr. Dilip Mahalanbis, a famous pediatrician from West Bengal.

Dr. Dilip Mahalanabis was an Indian pediatrician noted for his use of oral rehydration therapy to treat diarrheal diseases. In the mid-1960s, he conducted research on cholera and other diarrheal diseases at the Johns Hopkins International Center for Medical Research and Training in Calcutta, India.

A doctor who saved millions of lives worldwide died yesterday on 16 October 2022 at 87 in a hospital in Kolkata.
He was born on 12 November 1932.

His work was big enough to win the Nobel Prize.
But the Indian government also did not give the Padma award.
